What a week! Aside from one windy day, the weather in Florida at Sebring International Raceway was a nice break from the snow and cold back here in Wisconsin. It was good to spend some time with the crew from Accumoto Motorsport and their beautiful racecars, but I’m glad to be home again. I’ve been holding off on appointments lately to get some other scheduling sorted out, but I’m now ready to take down appointments for spring. The Hawk at Road America.
This weekend well over a hundred vintage racers will descend upon Elkhart Lake, WI for what is easily the midwest’s biggest gathering of vintage racers. The racing kicks off on Thursday and continues on through Sunday reliving the eras of Can-Am, Trans-Am, vintage Formula, Indy cars, FIA prototypes, and many more. On Friday evening the racers take a parade down public streets to Elkhart Lake for the first night of the Road and Track concours event.
