The Hawk at Road America.

This weekend well over a hundred vintage racers will descend upon Elkhart Lake, WI for what is easily the midwest’s biggest gathering of vintage racers.   The racing kicks off on Thursday and continues on through Sunday reliving the eras of Can-Am, Trans-Am, vintage Formula, Indy cars, FIA prototypes, and many more.  On Friday evening the racers take a parade down public streets to Elkhart Lake for the first night of the Road and Track concours event.  Seeing, and more importantly hearing, the racers make the short drive to the downtown area is quite the spectacle.

Saturday evening will have a similar concours that is dedicated to the street cars, both days draw in cars from all over the country and beyond.  CHD will be freshening up the gorgeous 330 GTC from a few months back which will be on display for Saturday.  I hope to see you all there!
